Mako Studios Ltd is responsible for the personal information you provide in our recruitment assessments. Assessment 1 explores working preferences, while Assessment 2 uses reasoning questions with an answer key. Neither is an automated hiring decision or a validated psychometric or IQ test.
What we collect
Your name, email address, the role you are considering, your chosen responses and assessment results. For both assessments we record the start time, finish time, time limit and questions answered. Assessment 2 also records correct-answer counts. We do not ask for sensitive personal information.
Why and who sees it
We use this information to inform interviews, understand working-style preferences and discuss job-related reasoning. Results are available to the authorised Mako Studios employer account and are not displayed to candidates or published. We do not automatically accept or reject candidates based on scores. Technical service providers may process information on our behalf to host and operate the assessments.
Retention and your choices
Responses are kept only while needed for the relevant recruitment purpose and are reviewed for deletion when no longer required. You can ask how your information is used, request access or correction, or ask for deletion using the contact details below. We will consider such requests under applicable data protection law.
Questions or adjustments
Assessment 1 has a 15-minute default time limit and Assessment 2 has a 20-minute default time limit. Both stop automatically when time expires and save answers along the way. If you need an alternative way to participate, additional time, or have a privacy question, contact taf@makostudios.co.uk before starting. You can discuss accessibility adjustments without entering sensitive information into this form.
